Overhaul At Vital Manchester City

OVER the last few days, Vital Manchester City has undergone one or two changes.

New Editor

As of May 1 (Tudor), I became the sites new fulltime editor.

Co-editors

Johnny Baguette - Gavin Cooper - Andy Leggott

Introducing Myself

I have been following Manchester City since the mid 70's and consider myself a passionate supporter.

Website Experience

Over the last two years, I have had the pleasure of either being involved, or been site editor for several football websites. As you would expect, I have gradually learnt and developed my trade along the way.

Future Of Vital Man City

The Vital Network has been around for a couple of years and from what I've seen, Vital is the future and definitely here to stay.

I appreciate there are dozens of City sites out there in cyberland; nevertheless, I truly believe this site has the potential to become one the major players. Given time, and with a lot of blood, commitment and tears we will get there.

Vital Man City is best described as a New & Discussion site. The site editors will endeavour to keep the front pages looking fresh and up-to-date, meanwhile we could use a bit of help when it comes to interaction.

It can get sad and lonely talking to myself, so in order to keep my sanity I would really appreciate as many as possible to interact on the article comments sections and of course, on the various forums.

Forums

In an attempt to separate the various themes, I decided to break them down into categories.

Vital Man City News & Official Announcements

Here you will find the following topics.

Games & Quizzes

At the present time the forums are very quiet, however they don't have to be this way. All it takes is a brave few to get the ball rolling and before long we'll have a vibrant City community all of our own. Go on, give it a go.

I can see a few eyes are beginning to glaze over so I'll take the hint and finish off by saying...

Vital Manchester City is 100% unofficial: For the fans, by the fans

All the best in your new job I am sure it will become a Site to be proud of. The one thing that rather surprises me is the lack of responses compared to other Premiership Club sites. Why is this, we are one of the best supported Club's in the country why is not reflected on this Site, are we not spreading the word enough ?

My main aim is to spread the City gospel. It may well take a while but trust me when I say, I will do everything in my powder to make this site one of the busiest unofficial City fans sites out there. One of the things to do is make this site noticed. I am preparing to do just that!!
Tudor
welcome on board, looking forward to seeing the site take off!
The Fear
Alphie, that always baffles me aswell, but there are more contributers now than there used to be. In terms of articles to discuss, JB has been the only regular in this endeavour and has produced some which has caused great debate.

In the SGE v Toxin saga, It is inevitable that Svennis will leave the club at the end of the season, but there are rumours floating about that there is no cash to be had, as Toxin cannot get his money released. As JB says money used on transfers last season was Sky TV money, with a bunch of players on the never never (for you younger fans that H.P or easy terms so to speak). Has Toxin backed himself into a corner from where he cannot get out, did he misinterpret the grumbles from the fans following the Fulham result or had he already made his mind up to replace Sven.

mcfcandy....Where are you ?...missing your comments !!!

I have read some of the comments made in the muen on various articles submitted, and whilst there have been a vast number in favour of keeping Sven, but the doubters are now starting to creep in. I think Svennis has done a brilliant job with the short time he had to bring people in sort out what he had, he admitted himself that to try and bring in players in January was more difficult than he imagined. Fans are starting to moan about some of the signings, not all of them were going to be a success, even Joe mercer signed some tripe. Ralph Brand was one, all I suppose we can all name some bananas we have had over the years from various managers. The only thing that worried me was the persistence of the 451 and we have all discussed this one throughout the season. Was this down to a lack of a genuine wide right man, or Svens inability to play any other way. I suppose we will never know now. Best of luck Tudor,
