Took his time, didn't he? And as Mr. Scolari's agent denies any contact has been made from MCFC, the rollercoaster takes another turn...
The MUEN has just broken the news from somewhere that Dr.Thaksin has finally made a statement over Svengate.
"We have not discussed it yet. We will do an evaluation at the end of the season about what needs to be changed and what needs to be added for the success of the club. During the season, we may complain for improvement but that`s normal for every club."
"We will discuss it at the end of the season, we have no decision. Sven, Scolari and Mourinho are all great coaches."
Now I know Thaksin hasn't spoken out until now, but infuriatingly, he has preferred to leave agents and the media to do all the putting two and two together as well as creating a divisive foundation shaking situation to worsen over the past week or so.
The cautious statements from the club regarding the ridiculous end of season Far Eastern knackerer speak volumes. They sound as in the dark as we are.
For all the replica shirts in China I cannot imagine any top coach like Scolari getting involved with City after this ongoing debacle.
One thing we have learnt from this episode is it's clear there is one voice who makes the decisions at City and it's the owners.
So we all remain in limbo. How Sven and his management team and the players have kept it together since the Chelsea game when the sacking rumours started, I don't know.
Short of the idea of Stephen Ireland flashing Thai flag underkecks at the cameras on sunday with Thaksin's name emblazoned across them, I don't know what else to suggest...
