Eastlandsenders Latest: Don't Tackle At Boro...

Soap opera swamped City are a game away from qualifying for a place in next season's UEFA Cup...provided the players stay out of trouble...

This will be one in the eye for all the hacks and players agents working themselves up into a frenzy over which of City's young stars will be first to leave this summer in the wake of Svengate.

UEFA confirmed today that England top the Fair Play rankings ahead of Norway. This means England has an additional automatic slot in next season's Uefa Cup.

It's down to City, Everton and Fulham as to who get's that Fair Play slot.

The Mickeys will qualify automatically on league position if they get a point against Mad Kev's Newcastle at Goodison Park on Sunday and of course, Fulham are fighting for their lives.

City are in pole position going into the Boro game, so the message to City's players is clear. Don't get stuck in!

No doubt Sven will leave Hamann on the bench but I am worried that Sun might put Downing over the touch line to spoil our chances and round off a great season for the China shirt seller.

SportCity Rumour number 798 refers to a team selection dispute, whereby Sven recalled Logan from loan but was ordered to play the effectively cr*p Sun. He has to be dropped for sunday. Just imagine a demented two footer or desperate shirt pull!

The ref on sunday is P Dowd. Refereed the Chelsea Villa 4-4er with 5 yellows and 3 reds. 6 bookings in his last Premier League clash, Everton v Villa's 2-2. So Boro v City is a game with nothing to play for. Fulham's ref at Pompey not yet released.

well at least we can still get into europe which is something sven has done for us but hay its not like he is going to be there next season anyway
dunne deal
Dowd was he the one that Sylvain wouldn't give the ball to or was that some other herbert. In the fair play league the fans have to be good as well so we have a head start there, Fulhams come in a taxi
Buzz Lightyear
still cant understand how we (the premiership) are top fo the fair play league??? after all the "anti referee" stuff managers come out with, and all those fouls on ronaldo/torres!
