Groclin Here We Come! City Hold Fair Play Place

File under 'Funny Old Game.' The FA have given our beleaguered management, squad and fans something to cheer...

City have just beaten Fulham to UEFA Fair Play qualification.

City will enter the competition at the first qualifying round stage in July on what we hope could be the start of the long road run to the final in Istanbul next May.

Of course, it wouldn't be City if there wasn't a problem with that. Thanks to the unbelievably awful Bon Jovi being allowed to foul the stadium with their dross, somebody at the club has confirmed City will not be able to host the first qualifying round tie at Eastlands as the pitch is due to be relaid. So the search will now be on for an alternative venue...

You couldn't etc...

Now it's a case of all eyes on Thailand for a response.

I see Toxin has rubbished the reports in todays trash newspapers and is considering legal action. At long last a positive reaction and I can now see Sven carrying on with the plan to reach the Champions League.

well how i see it now sven has done more than what he said he would do this season we finish in the top ten and were in europe what more could sina ask for. I personally think we will be challengers in the uefa cup

Grauniad: "Thaksin and Eriksson met briefly at a sponsors' dinner in Bangkok on Thursday. They shook hands and posed for photographs before dining at different tables and leaving separately."

i am telling yous now sven is going no where well thats what i think. According to Sky News sina said that he is very happy with what sven did and that none of the team is up for sale i hope this is true

Only three point gap between us and Fulham, it was close, they(fulham) can be happy with still being in the premier, great finish by them, although they should have been dead and buried at Eastlands.

This UEFA development could be more important than we could have imagined. Players will think twice about leaving with guaranteed Euro action. If Sven stays, point to prove post 8-1?
Johnny Baguette
Agreed JB. This will attract quality players, with this qualification. Not sure about Ronaldinho, not picked for the Brazil squad, has he lost the plot of how to play footie?
Buzz Lightyear
how much did that cost you in bribes!
