Bookies Offer 250/1 Against City Winning Title

Bookmakers williamhill.com are offering punters 250/1 against Manchester City winning the 2008/09 Premier League title.

Yet again, the so-called Premier League top four clubs are favourites to win next season's title race with Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool leading the way, however, there must be a time when their monopoly over the trophy has to end.

If this is to happen who do you think will be next seasons dark horses? Perhaps Sven and his players could pull out the almost impossible and give them a run for their money.

What do you think? Will City capitalise and finish higher than last seasons ninth position.

Selected odds, courtesy of williamhill.com

Manchester United - 11/10

Chelsea - 9/4

Arsenal - 7/2

Liverpool - 13/2

Tottenham - 66/1

Aston Villa - 100/1

Newcastle - 200/1

Manchester City - 250/1

Villa went from 16th to 11th to 6th. You do the maths, we'll be 1st next season, honest, that is how football works! :o)

As you will appreciate dunne deal various bookies offer their own odds. Only this morning I took the above from the William Hill website. No doubt they will change a zillion times prior to the start of next season.
Tudor
I don't know about who will break into the top four but my tip for teams who will struggle next season are Newcastle and Pompey.
alphieblues
i dont no about pompey i think them winning the fa cup will give them a boost
dunne deal
Thats quite good odds, being as we started 3 to 1 to get relegated by ladbrokes. last season
Buzz Lightyear
