Martin Petrov Voted Sven's Best City Signing

Martin Petrov Voted Sven's Best City Signing

Our latest Vital MCFC Poll saw Martin 'Rigsby' Petrov race away with the honour of being voted SGE's best signing...

We can be thankful for the flying winger's pace and threat, if not his occasional hand on hips 'it's all going wrong' mardy arsed demeanour as we look back upon a season that has had some equally magic and tragic moments.

The votes certainly reflect how hit and miss a three to four week transfer berserker can be. Take note, Thaksin. We can ill afford a repeat this summer...

Sven's Best Signing:

Petrov 40%

Corluka 25%

Elano 17%

Gelson 11%

Geovanni 1%

Castillo 1%

Benjani 1%

Caicedo 1%

Bojinov 1%

Bianchi 1%

Garrido 1%

ha ha, Rigsby, that's a great spot, he's the spitting image, right down to the hands on hips!

Nice one, Ghost! Some of his pulling out of tackles that were 90% in his favour did my head in as well. Top rumour reaching Vital MCFC's manor is one of all Blue hell breaking loose next week. Tuesday is being talked up. Stay tuned.

Okay, Ghost. You heard it here first. City is to be sold again. Due diligence has been under way for weeks. Thaksin has seen his reputation damaged and wants out. Financially unable to continue. The incoming consortium will see Noel Gallagher installed as Chairman. The board will consist of Johnny Marr, Badly Drawn Boy, Billy Duffy with Mark E Smith as Chief Executive. Liam Gallagher will be installed as Manager with Ricky Hatton his assistant. They will batter any player who underperforms and any opposition player or official who is having it for that matter. The Doves will take over Reserve team affairs. Other than that, I haven't a fecking clue what's going off, other than to say something is said to be happening on Tuesday. Welcome to the silly season!

I don't believe that rumour, surely there must be roles for Eddie Large, Curly Watts & Les Battersby!

What about a bernard Manning statue to replace the B of the Bang? Controversial.

We could have Stuart Hall running its a knockout in the second half, if, we are losing and they have the ball.

Just reading the transfer rumours about what players we are interested in, but this has to be a load of Hogwash, because if as they state the end of Svennis is nigh, then the new man will have his own ideas, unless the papers know different. If getting to the CL final and second in the prem gets you the sack, what chance has Sven got.

The word around Sportcity is it's the Thai's who are running the show transfer and agents wise. I find that worrying lads. I steadily get the idea Toxin has gone for a let the anger of the fans fizzle out before revealing his hand option.

You can't run a Football club (the playing side) like a normal business, it does not work that way, there is no instant success. You can in a commercial sense, but players react in different ways to managers. I am hope something will be announced soon one way or another.
