'If It's Football, It's Vital'

The Never Ending Story

Welcome to Vital Manchester City's attempt to write and publish our very own 'Never Ending Story'.

The theme will be based around the life and times of being a Manchester City fan; however, the difference here is you will be responsible for the story development.

I will begin here, and then all you have to do is add the next paragraph....like so).

As I say, I don't care how the story develops, so long as it's kept in good taste and you have a weird imagination!

Go on, have a go?

Have fun!

SEEING AS IT'S A FAIRY STORY, HOW ABOUT - ONE DAY WE WON A TROPHY!
merlin
I just wondered (after reading an artickle on Sky Sports) that all of a sudden competition is bad for English football, its Ok when the so called big four win everything, but not so good when Villa, Portsmouth, City and West Ham, get someone to put money into a club. To make things equal, make a ceiling for transfers and wages that all the premier clubs can afford, then you will get a fairer system and an exodus of players to somewhere who will pay over the top for their services, including British players. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11679_3674949,00.html
Buzz Lightyear
Spot on Buzz. England's abject failure to qualify for Euro 2008 should have precipitated a major revue of the national game by the FA. Instead, they just threw more money at it, employing a foreign coach who couldn't speak English for a massive salary. England couldn't live with the likes of Spain and Holland right now and until the game is overhauled, will win nothing.

do you no what BL that is so right my dad continuesly gives me death cos we got taking over but he is a chelsea fan and he still continues on and on gets very fustrating
dunne deal
I reallky do hope that we don't sign Goofy, That would enable Dr T. to buy us more quality players, don't know anythinf about JO, but have heard that AC Milan are trying to get him aswell. If I was Sparky I would not be happy by having players bought for me that were not my choice. They may not suit his style of play.
Buzz Lightyear
Go for Berbatov and break the bank to do it.

Everyone said Chelsea would hit the buffers if their sugar daddy did one,but it looks like he may stick it out a bit longer. But as for your clown,I bet at the end of this season he stops banging money into a two bit club and £ucks off back to Thailand.
SweetLeftFoot
the trouble with billionaires they dont become clowns overnight and they know how to make money.
Buzz Lightyear
we will see.not one clue about football and he's trying to run your team.lets see what happens.
SweetLeftFoot
thats football, take nothing for granted, we (City fans) just like roller coasters, we picked our team and no matter what they do whatever divsion they end up in, we shall always be here, because its fun and a few heartaches along the way.I remember listening to a phone in and Utd had lost thier first game in ages and all the fans could do was moan, I thought, you want to get down to Maine Road mate, then you'd really have something to moan about. So slagging our team off just doesn't work try something else.preferrably another club site, you might get more bites.
Buzz Lightyear
with the length of your reply i would say that is a bite, even though i wasnt trying for one.being a United fan and you being what you are,if i wanted to get a bite,it would NOT be hard.
SweetLeftFoot
There's an alledgedly leaked new Le Coq Sportif City shirt doing the rounds...check out the forum...
Johnny Baguette
had a look jb is appears the same as usual, rubbish
Buzz Lightyear
Always happy for good debate Sweetleftfoot, I was referring to Kendog, see under article re Ronnie unimpressed, that did get a bite from me, no call for such language. I don't apologise for any of our fans who appear on your web page and slag your team off,I just feel sorry that they have done it.
Buzz Lightyear
I see Charlie was a touch of class again this evening.
alphieblues
Agree Alphie, but was saying wish he could be a threat at corners and head a ball, he cant and isnt, but he is young and will get better. Goofy now linked with Chelsea. Just thinking that if Macintosh got the elbow for backing Svennis, then I expect that Toxin will do the same with Dunney and move him on.
Buzz Lightyear
Faz has gone, is there anyone else in the cupboard?
