1948? Outstanding sir!! And I thought my 20 years as a Gooner was good! Seems pretty pathetic when you consider you went to your first game 3 years before my mum was born!!! I take my hat off to you .... proper football fan!!

And not to be disrespectful Tudor, but surely having a man who's years as a football fan surpass anything you could even imagine .... you could have tapped into his historical resources a little better .... I bet this dude has some awesome stories to tell.

I'm not knocking the questions, I'd just be interested to read some of the stories from yesteryear.

When I get time I may write an article on my comings and goings. In the meantime if you can manage to read Colin Shindler's book 'Manchester United ruined my Life' you will have some idea on what I have been through.
