Sheffield United Sign Sun Jihai

Championship side Sheffield United have signed 30-year-old right back Sun Jihai from Manchester City on a two-year deal.

Sun Jihai, who has 66 China international caps under his belt, was out of contract at Eastlands having spent six seasons with the club.

Sometimes colamitous, occasionally comical, but always committed. Best of luck Sun at the Blades!

I liked the guy always gave 100% and has never had that luxury of a settled place in the team. It is very difficult to come from the reserves and play at the top level of football, what most fans consider that Sun played bad football, was purely down to lack of match fitness and the other fact that he played in numerous positions. I am sure he will have a good couple of seasons at Sheffield.
