City Fans Prefer Stockport To Celtic!

On our last poll, Vital Manchester City asks...

Pre-season friendlies: Which game are you looking forward to the most?

Here is the result, in descending order.

AC Milan 55%

Stockport County 18%

Celtic 16%

Hamburg SV 11%

It appears Scottish Premier League Champions Celtic has lost their appeal, or perhaps they never had it in the first place, when it comes to pre-season friendly matches.

Either Stockport County fans rallied round and voted on mass or Celtic's auld enemy Rangers conspired to rig the vote. Either way, click here to read details reference the Celtic v Man City game.

On our new poll, we ask the question...

Out of the five City players released, who will you miss the most?

To vote, use the poll question to the right hand side of this article.

Oh well. We are really gutted :) Stockport should be easier to beat. Mind Celtic fans are noing like that scum mob who you unfortunately encountered few months back.

Whats so exciting about playing Milan, we play em regularly in the champs league, they aint that hot
El Lad
Boring. boring Celtic. They play in a mickey-mouse league and pretend to be champions!. Give me a break will ya?
Tudor
Well i for one am quite excited about this .Ive been a ST holder at Celtic for longer than i care to remember and City have always been my favourite English side since the mid 70s.Ive been down to see City a fair few times and on occasion ive had the hoops on ,and have always been well received. When i went to Lou Macaris testimonial in 84 ,a City fan who we got talking to in our digs gave me a City scarf when i told him they were my fav English mob.I got some right eveil glances from Utd fans when we sang YNWA and i was holding up a City scarf.

Aye Tudor we do play in a crap league, as do a lot of teams who play outwith the big 4-5 leagues, we still get to play in the biggest club competition in the world most years though. How does it feel when your city rivals see you as nothing more than a side show? when was the last time you ever did anything of significance in world football? The top 4 in england are fantastic teams, most of the rest are also rans who spend big money to go nowhere. Chin up ;-)
El Lad
El Lad... If we were in your crap league we would also qualify for the Champions League every year.
alphieblues
but you're not, dimwit. see how you against milan, a team we beat in a game that mattered.
jouster
Would ya alphieblues?? You play in the richest league in the world and your team is average at best. Take away all your T.V. money and you'd probably struggle in the SPL.
El Lad
Mickey mouse league that city would be 3rd in. Sorry to good mufc fans but nimrods like tudor always walk into it. Look forward to seeing 2 good clubs play.

The "Mickey Mouse league" SPL is a two team league, whereas the EPL is a one team league......Man Utd, the rest are hihgly paid kicking boys. Give me the World's biggest rivalry "Old Firm game" any day. Look up and drool suckers Floridabhoy

Been to Parkhead many times, it's worth a visit, even for a freindly. Scottish fans are clued-up on the EPL, unlike people down here who think the SPL is a "Mickey Mouse" league, True; the EPL isa stronger leauge but the SPL is a better league than people down here think. Hope their is a good turnout in Glasgow; it's not a hard place to get to.
