July 17 City v EB/Streymur Live?

Thursday July 17 Manchester City travel to the Faroe Islands to face EB/Streymur in the first qualifying round first leg of the UEFA Cup, but, how can fans watch the game - live?

Two weeks later, the home leg is being shown live on ITV4, however, as yet no UK broadcaster has announced any details regarding the live stream out of the Faroe Islands.

So, unless you are one of the lucky 500 or so City fans making the long trip to parts of the world yet conquered by civilisation, how on earth are the rest of us mortals going to watch, or listen to the match?

Satellite enthusiasts with dishes the size exceeding 1.8m can pick up TV channels from many Nordic channels and beyond, however that means diddly squat to the rest of us. So, in the absence of common sense many of us are going to be left to our own devices!

Many internet users use sites whereby the content might not, shall we say, be exactly legal (scratches nose). I for one would not advocate using these sites, nevertheless I know someone who might know a thing or two about such places.

Baring in mind the last paragraph, I am going to have to end this article and pass you over to someone who I met down the pub the other night who knows a thing or two about these things.

doesn't always work and you lose the feed and it is a limited feed and compicated to download. I note on the live footie site that the game is listed TBC which means maybe no-one is showing it, due to the difficulty of getting there I presume, unless some danish television chjannel is showing it?

Good luck to the city! You deserve UEFA football and would strengthen the English charge to the title.

Rumour is that Onuoha may be going, Aston Villa were said to be watching him towards the end of last season, but he was injured.Yes we need a goalkeeper as cover, both our current ones are lacking in experience so we need a backup, we have had a few of them over the years.

Because he wants to be a first team regular and not warm his segs on the bench Alphie, If you have a fit Richards Dunne Charlie and Ball, where does Onuoha fit in? if he was left footed I might just try him at LB but cannot see him moving up the pecking order at the moment.

Yes DD without a doubt he is a talented player, but if all the players were fit, he would only get on the bench for my team. What I am saying Onuoha himself may want to move and may be tempted if other clubs come in for him.
