The Maestro Returns

City fans will be flocking to the M.E.N arena on Saturday to hail one of our all time cult heroes Ali Benarbia, when once again he graces a City shirt in the North West Masters.

The delight is slightly tempered by the fact that Georgi Kinkladze, who was said to be desperate to play, was unable to gain a work permit. (Seems a petty ruling, when you consider what he has contributed to British Football & society in general in the past!).

What a mouth-watering prospect, to have had Ali & Geo in the same team!

Joining Ali in sky blue will be Eric Nixon, Keith Curle, Steve Redmond, Ian Brightwell, Fitzroy Simpson, Mike Sheron & Wayne Biggins. What price a return for The Goat next year?

The Screwfix North West Masters Cup 2008 takes place on Saturday at the M.E.N. Arena. Doors open at 6pm. Tickets priced 14 for adults and 10 for children available at www.men-arena.com
