City fans will be flocking to the M.E.N arena on Saturday to hail one of our all time cult heroes Ali Benarbia, when once again he graces a City shirt in the North West Masters.
The delight is slightly tempered by the fact that Georgi Kinkladze, who was said to be desperate to play, was unable to gain a work permit. (Seems a petty ruling, when you consider what he has contributed to British Football & society in general in the past!).
What a mouth-watering prospect, to have had Ali & Geo in the same team!
Joining Ali in sky blue will be Eric Nixon, Keith Curle, Steve Redmond, Ian Brightwell, Fitzroy Simpson, Mike Sheron & Wayne Biggins. What price a return for The Goat next year?
The Screwfix North West Masters Cup 2008 takes place on Saturday at the M.E.N. Arena. Doors open at 6pm. Tickets priced £14 for adults and £10 for children available at www.men-arena.com
