Santa Cruz Enters Unsettling Period

Santa Cruz Enters Unsettling Period

Blackburn Rovers ace Roque Santa Cruz is becoming unsettled after learning about a possible Manchester City bid.

The 26-year-old Paraguayan striker is thought to be on City boss Mark Hughes wish list and now the 6'2' forward wants clear-the-air talks with Ewood Park boss Paul Ince.

'Mark Hughes was my manager at Blackburn, so I am not surprised by this,' said Roque. 'It would represent good money for the club, but Paul Ince has said he doesn't want to sell me.'

'I hope by the time the League starts this will all be sorted out.'

Several commentators value Santa Cruz in the £15million bracket.

Tudor, if this is true, then I am excited, I think Jo and Santa may well be a good strike partnership.

Getting Santa Cruz would be an excellent capture. Bayern were pretty foolish in selling him in the first place.
