City v Stockport County Update

Manchester City kick off Saturday's pre-season friendly against Stockport County at 1pm, it has been announced.

Both sets of supporters have been told that NO tickets will be sold on the day and that travelling fans will be housed in the Vernon Stand.

Tickets are currently on sale priced 10 for adults, 8 for concessions and 5 for children under 16.

Directions

By Road: Leave the M6 at Junction 19. Take the A556 signed to Manchester/Altrincham, then join the M56 towards Manchester Airport. After a few miles, leave the M56 and join the M60 towards Stockport.

Leave the M60 at Junction 1 and turn right at the second set of traffic lights to go onto the A560 towards Cheadle.

Then turn left into Edgeley Road (there is a pub at the left hand corner at the lights at this junction). The ground is down the road on the right and is well sign-posted.

By Rail: Stockport railway station is within walking distance of the ground (around half a mile).

Come out of the station, turn left up Station Road, and continue up the hill towards the roundabout. Go straight over the roundabout and turn left into Caroline Street for the ground.

I hope that he tries out a new CB partnership, given that Dunney will not be in the team to start the season. I wonder who will captain the side. Guesses anyone?
