Bookies Slash Odds On Hughes

Several bookmakers have slashed their odds from 16/1 to 8/1 and made Mark Hughes fourth favourite to be the first Premier League boss to leave his club this season.

Alan Curbishley 11/2 favourite to be the first to go while 13/2 Keegan; 7/1 Megson; 8/1 Hughes; 10/1 Ince; 12/1 Benitez; Hodgson; Moyes; Pulis; Southgate; 16/1 Brown; 20/1 Mowbray; Redknapp.

'It seems extraordinary that a new, high profile boss like Hughes might leave his club having barely taken charge but that's football, these days, and punters certainly believe it is a real possibility' said Wiiliam Hill's spokesman, Graham Sharpe.
