'If It's Football, It's Vital'

From An Alleged Employee Of Manchester City

Vital Manchester City received the following article from a disgruntled Man City employee, although the origin cannot be verified.

'I'm sorry to say this, as a life long fan and - for the last few (for me at least) unforgettable months - employee, MCFC as we know it is finished. Here are the FACTS, for those who really want to know. Thaksin is, as of midnight 10th August 2008, an international fugitive.'

'He now has to be found guilty of corruption in Thailand in his absence, offering no defence. Extradition requests will surely follow.'

'The Premier League will then have to find him short of the fit and proper ownership rules (and believe me, the pressure for that from fellow 'members' has been growing since June).'

'Thaksin is trying to palm off City onto whoever will now take it, an insolvent mess of a business, completely incapable of sustaining itself.'

'The truth is that the only interested party (until recently) - Wardle - is not now able to bail City out now, he can't come close on his own and no partners have been found. The wage bill and commitments due on the last 2 years' transfers have spiralled out of control.'

'The Corluka affair is the last straw - I personally worked on the deal and can assure anyone interested that he has already been transferred to Tottenham. Spurs have this evening started legal action, and he will be barred from playing for City following an injunction in the courts tomorrow.'

'Personally I expect Hughes to then resign on principal (he has no choice now, he is on record as saying that he will have final say on all transfers). Many wont believe any of this, but a few will.'

'I am very close to this situation (readers will never know who I am or how close - a few would know my name but it isn't appropriate to for me to come 'out') - trust me, I am close enough to know what has happened in the last fortnight, I am p*ssed off with it (as a fan, and as someone who has worked hard for the club during the last 18 months or so) and it must be said, a little drunk.'

'I am posting this message on a few sites - apologies for those that keep reading it, but I want City fans to know what is happening. The sad truth is we are finished, and that as a result, the PL will be facing its biggest challenge since inception within two weeks of now.'

Thats bullsh**t, sorry hes a fake!
Whiskey anyone?
He more than likely is mcfcthriller, nevertheless we're here to report what's going on in City land. You, like everyone else can voice you're opinion either here or on the forums.
mcfcthriller, I too have today been told from a very credible source that you now have a cash crisis and are being asked some serious questions by the PL about your ability to pay..if they are not fully satisfied with the answers, then you will have a full blown crisis on you hands..I hope for you sake that you have the answers, and can find the cash!

sounds dodgy as hell to me, but talk of dodgy dealings has surround that bloke for years!!
No idea whether this source is sound or not, but what would you do? Your wife is facing 3 years prison which is like a holiday to what you're going to get. Most of your money is frozen, and you have a business in massive debt but with multi-million pound assets! It's pretty common knowledge that everything he's done so far has been on 'tic', and it's only his smug confidence in the corrupt legal system he help create that has got him this far. We have to take the supporters blinkers off and see it from his point of view ... it's a business and he's not a fan. Is he really going to put the fans before his own personal circumstances. Thai citizens have 'disapeared' for far less! If we think the last 20 years have been rough, I don't think we've seen 'owt yet! 4/1 on Hughes being 1st to go ... grab it while you can!
I really hope this not true. Who will beat Man U for us now?
The warrant is true, but the implications on City is a far stretched interpretation.
Is the game tomorrow or after tomorrow ?! I want to talk about soccer, I'm weary of talking politics, economics and law!

thing thats hilarious is the reaction of some city fans.....refusal to beleive anything is wrong, in the face of absolute evidence!!!! the club is in total meltdown.....the whole reason corluka was agreed to be sold behind MH back is because the well is absolutely dry! city cant even afford the payments due on current players! shinawatra is currently an officail fugitive.....his assests will now be returned to the thai state....the game is over.
Evidence? What fricking Evidence? I have my very own sources as a matter of fact and I know the media know nothing. I'm really getting p*ssed off with this and i'm even thinking of contacting the FA about this issue its becoming out of hand and we shouldn't be the ones suffering. Frank for ****sake or Cook make a statement!
Look 101 'll tell you the secret about corluka ( sorry to Man City Fans but must he Knows ) We did like what you had did with us on Mido, We had back your the debt, And Now close the story about corluka leave him to focuses on the coming games .

I hope it's bull, I know how I would feel if it was us, good luck to you (apart from Sunday)
sorry to you city fans if its does go tits up i do feel for you, perhaps in hindsight you should of got a kebab not a Thai,,,, your man upstairs has to try to recoup some of his frozen assets which i believe is around £800m that's why hes trying to sell some of your players off to get some form of cash back in his pocket or to pay for the team you have now,,
Sh*t I hope the guy who wrote this is a fake. You're not a bad bunch and you certainly don't deserve this. On the other hand, there's a massive queue of American squillionaires waiting to pick up a Premier League fashion accessory. All clubs go through this horrible transition period of uncertainty when they're entering a new era. It may be for the better . . .
Christ on a Harley Davidson. Planet Blue is in absolute feverish uproar. I am trying to take a step back and take it all in. I certainly will not deny that there is something badly wrong at Manchester City. There is no smoke without fire. I confess that the tidal wave of revelations and rumours is starting to get to me though and I'm clinging to the many good things we have like a young exciting team who have begun to look as if they are enjoying their football. The TRUTH will out.

JB. well lets get the injunction by Spuds out of the way first. Spuds did indeed forward all the papers to the FA regarding the transfer, however City didn't. That I am led to believe is the end of the story.
Buzz Lightyear
What a mess.

I have copied this from a comment by one of our fans, my apologies to him, but it made me laugh. 3 Questions MUEN: Is Bread Van a Spuds Player or a Blue? Is Mark Hughes still focused on the job? What did frank buy in Guilford? BarrattOZ
Buzz Lightyear
Hughes' odds cut even further this morning - now only 3s! Harrowing times!
The FA confirmed today that Spurs completed their part of the transfer, but City didn't, meaning the transfer does not go ahead, which immediately exposes the 'disgruntled employee' as a fake, or extreemly bad at his job (as he claimed to have worked on the transfer). The only truth in the article was "I'm a little drunk"!
Ghost of 76
can't believe the writer was drunk no spelling mistakes, punctuation marks, neat paragraphs do me a favour.
