Mikael Silvestre Linked With City Move

Manchester United left back Mikael Silvestre has been linked with a move to Eastlands, according to the The People.

The Sunday tabloid also says the 29-year-old France international can leave Old Trafford for a cut-price 750,000 after falling out of favour will boss Sir Alex Ferguson.

Silvestre has been a Red for nine years making a total of 249 appearances.

City81 it both the players you quote were only on short contracts, it would have cost far more than that to keep them and it was unlikely that either of them would not get a game at City. The same for Ball and garrido, if these stories are true that we end up chasing a left back when the right side still has not been solved and is more urgent.

Well, he's far from the best LB in the world but he has a wealth of experience. Ball, Garrido? Rag factor? I dunno.
