Vincent Kompany Fact File

Manchester City new signing Vincent Kompany is considered one of the best talents in Europe; however, how much do you actually know about the 22-year-old?

Vincent was born on 10th April 1986 in an area called Uccle, which is one of the nineteen municipalities located in the Brussels-Capital Region of Belgium.

Beijing Olympic

He has recently been with the Belgian side at the Olympic Games but left in controversial circumstances before his country's semi final defeat against Nigeria.

Injury Prone

In the second half of the 2005-2006 season while applying his trade at Anderlecht Kompany injured his shoulder. He was out of the side for over two months while he recovered from an operation.

In November 2006, having moved to the Bundesliga, Vincent came a cropper only six games into the season when he suffered an achilles injury. Unfortunately, he was out for the rest of the season.

Awards

Kompany won several awards in Belgium when he played for Anderlecht, including the Belgian Golden Shoe and the Belgian Ebony Shoe.

Manchester City

On Friday August 22, Vincent signed a four-year deal. The official transfer figure is undisclosed, however £6.7m has been touted by many.

I remembered this player now ( Kompany ), He play In Olympics against Brazil, He take a red card (NOT FAIR) in the middle of the second half, Than Brazil able to score three goals, Is very good Centre Defence ,
