Guys, I want to ask about the European game, If we win 2-1, Is this result enough to qualify to the next round ?!
city 81
Yes away goals count.
alphieblues
Are you sure alphie, This European not FA cup ?!
city 81
If the score is 0-1 it will go to extra time and penalties, but if the score 1-2 then city will win on away goals, but not sure if they have to play extra time.
Buzz Lightyear
Feel good factor returning. We'll thrash 'em.
Johnny Baguette
Yes Buzz, I remember Now we played with a Polish team in Europe before 4 year ago, The result was 1-1 (H) , 0-0 (A), They who qualifier.
city 81
We have had good practise at breaking clubs defences down thanks to Wham. I cannot see FCMatalan coming out to try and win the game, Their back four were good on the night, big tall lads and the goalie was on top form. We have got a bit stronger and need a goal early doors. If we do that then they have to come out and score again and thats when the gaps open up. Same team as Sunday for me, except Dunney for Micah.
Buzz Lightyear
Buzz, What about Jo, Will play or not ?!
city 81
It would be hard to change a team that's just won 3-0, but then so would leaving out a guy that cost £19m! We'll have to wait and see, but I'm certainly feeling positive!
oliverblue
Jo should be a sub. He won't have the sharpness required. We should go into the game with the same team.
Johnny Baguette
Agreed! 3-0 again would do just fine!
oliverblue
Definately play for me City 81, The experience he brings will be invaluable when trying to break down the defence. Sturridge will make it in the Premier and will score goals, but he is young and makes some errors that he will learn from, but you have to go with your most experienced striker. Jo played 90 minutes thursday and although he may not be up to full fitness, he would just get the nod.
