Fans Turned Off By Ronaldo Speculation

Fans Turned Off By Ronaldo Speculation

Manchester City fans are not interested in Brazilian superstar Ronaldo, according to forum posts.

Ronaldo, who will be 32 on September 22 is out of contract after been released from AC Milan in summer, however, speculation surrounding his next move suggests he might be coming to a town near you!

The 2002 World player of the year ruptured the kneecap ligaments way back in February and hasn't kicked a football since.

The once trim looking striker has had similar knee problems during his playing career dating back to 1998, when he suffered a his first of three knee injuries.

When questioned about the Ronaldo speculation, Blue boss Mark Hughes said...

"Signing a big-name player would possibly help that and would help me but it won't help the team if you just buy lads at the back end of their career just looking for a final payday."

"They won't get anywhere near my team if they are not capable of helping it. We are trying to move the club forward on all fronts. If I feel a player can't make an impact on the team, it does not matter who he is — he won't be coming."
