Got the player installed ok, but I'm getting a "This Content is not available" message. I'll have another go.

I used the Firefox browser and it worked fine for me.

To get the sound you have to click on the audio button. For some reason the default setting is set to silent. Very odd.

Still no dice. I wonder if it's a regional thing. For example, I can't watch most of the BBC iplayer footage or programmes because I am outside the UK.

Could be JB, which is a great shame. We'll have to wait for others living outside the UK to see if they have similar problems.

JB I'm running vista, so that not eh problem. have you downloaded the lattest version of Flash? and do you have the Quicktime version? I cannot see it being a regional thing, it must work on the similar lines, that youtube runs. I know you can get mcfctv.

JB, Try this new browser, My friend told me it's great, but I have not tried, because I still used window 98 :)) and he not work with it .

JB safari wont let you download flash, but I think it is adobe flash that you need, It is a free programme and will work with vista, lets hope it works, perhaps then you could watch the bbci player.

Thanks for all the info lads, really appreciate it. This pc has got all the gear neccesary running on it and no dice. I'm going to try it at work this afternoon and get some mates to have a go as well. I think it's regional like the BBC regulations.

INFO for Vital MCers outside the UK: We've been in touch with Virgin Media and they have confirmed that due to "geographical location" the content of all Previews and Highlights are not available outside the UK.
