Tottenham Accept Berbatov Bid

Tottenham Accept Berbatov Bid

Mark Hughes has told Sky Sports News that Spurs have accepted Manchester City's shock bid for Dimitar Berbatov.

Hughes revealed that a fee had been agreed with Tottenham and he now plans to hold talks with the player himself. The fee is expected to be a new British record, in excess of £30million.

Hughes said...

'I'm as stunned and excited by this as the fans are.'

Dimitar Berbatov left Stansted airport earlier this afternoon bound for Manchester, whereby he will discuss personal terms and have a medical.

An official announcement is expected this evening.

I want ridof berba and if his goes through it shows he's just all about the money and not CL football. Plus sticking it to Fergie where it hurts! Happy days :)

This is absolutely hilarious. Take a sulky ******** who wants Champions League football...he starts moaning at current club. Looks set for Man U and his dream. Man City come in, offer £34million, Berbatov gets silly money at Man City, playing for arguably a club that is slightly behind or very similar and realises that he shouldnt of turned the Spurs players against him. Fergie starts crying. Spurs in the money. All is good :D

Haha I LOVE IT!!! Berbatov to City!!! 35million!!!! A big Up Yours to Fergie from Daniel Levy and Manchester City. And you have to laugh at Berbatov. Youve been a big baby despite being a Hero at Spurs and now youve only engineered a move to Man City haha!!! W*nker!!!! And even if he rejects Man City, Manure will be forced to up there bid by millions and Levy will have won. And Corluka has signed!!! Im sooo Happy!!!
