City Set To Offer Man United $240m For Ronaldo

Manchester City, are the only team in Manchester, just ask anyone - and now the Eastlands club are considering a substantial offer no club in their right mind could refuse.

That's right, you've guessed it, $240million, or in pounds sterling, £134million for the Rags Portuguese ace, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Dr Sulaiman Al Fahim, head of the Dhabi United Group for Development and Investment said earlier today...

'Ronaldo has said he wants to play for the biggest club in the world, so we will see in January if he is serious.'

'Real Madrid were estimating his value at $160 million but for a player like that, to actually get him, will cost a lot more, I would think $240 million.'

'But why not? We are going to be the biggest club in the world, bigger than both Real Madrid and Manchester United."

A case of playing Rednose at the mind games...Oh and by the way come January Manure will be desperate for the money as the Banks will be calling in the Glazers £350 million loan by then.
alphieblues
good one Alphie never thought of that. I thought we were a bit cheeky with saying we want Ronaldo, but then I recall them saying they will make a bid for Richards.
Buzz Lightyear
I doubt he'll go to City. But I think United would be pretty happy with 130 mill in the bank.
