Manchester United Will Listen To Ronaldo Bid

Manchester United chief executive David Gill will listen to, and consider a proposed £135million bid for Portuguese ace, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Dr Sulaiman Al Fahim, head of the Abu Dhabi United Group, (ADUG) has gone on record to say he will give Manchester City boss Mark Hughes virtually as much money as he needs to buy the very best players in the world, included the 23-year-old United winger.

"It was an interesting comment, I think it's a supporters-type comment," said Gill.

"He [Al Fahim] mentioned [Fernando] Torres and [Cesc] Fabregas in the same article so I think we will treat that with a pinch of salt."

"Ultimately we would discuss any offer with Sir Alex [Ferguson] and the owners, as that sort of money is very large for one person," he said.

"I have never met the gentleman [Al Fahim] so I can't believe he is serious at those sorts of levels. But that is a fantastic amount of money and would turn the industry upside down. However, we are not in the market to sell our best players."

That wont be music to Man Yoo fan's ears! Little old Citeh after their so-called best player to be SWP's understudy!

Looking at the poll, I don't think we will be hated, we don't have that way of looking at people as if it was something you just trod in. United have always had that attitude. When Chelsea got RA I was jealous I wondered, why not City, why not us, but at the same time, I was pleased that Chelsea was someone who could beat them. I still don't hate Chelsea. When we play them its a challenge to win because they have a good side. I remember Arsenal beating us at home 5-1 and we thought it was good that we had scored. They were awesome. Manchester Manure so arrogant that the opposition never played better than them it is always some other excuse like the colour of the kit. Can you imagine Sparky or any manager except you know who, saying to the board sorry we lost the kit was the wrong colour.

Ob just don't want to put money in their pockets, rather wait till his contract up and then sign him on a free, that feels even better.

Please god, don't have Ronaldo here! Please no..
mcfcthriller
He's got his heart set on leaving the Swamp for Madrid. He's won everything in the English game, so I cant see him coming. Like your thoughts Buzz though - City on a free! Can just picture him scoring the winner at their gaff, going over to the Stretford End and kissing the City badge! Happy days!

OB roflmao, icing on the cake, if only.

Well with 135 mil, NO CLUB IN THIS WORLD COULD SURELY REJECT THAT!? So sure, I'd be happy to see the backside of him for 135 MIL!

Would you United fans be happy to sell to City?
oliverblue
Well no. thats why it would never happen but personally i'd prefer we took the money and ran!
ForeverUnited
Hello fellow bluehearts i would much rather see messi than ronaldo he's not half the player without rooney(unless we buy him too).
moonbeam1968
stupid not to really, can't afford not to with the interest on the loans.

Don't like him, don't want him, wouldn't clap him even if he played for us
Chillum
Chillum, I think you'll be saying that a lot about rumoured players, but as soon as they sign for u, "omg he's like so my favourite player!!" Can't wait to see your squad next summer, and then watch them claim 5th/6th or 7th .... again.
