This game at Wigan is an acid test for how well Houghes has us organised for a top 6 or 4 finish. To make the development and guarantee Europe next year is I think his biggest priority. To make that breakthrough we need to get results in games like this one. The games against Wigan, Middlesborough, Newcastle, Portsmouth, Everton, West Brom, Hull, Stoke, Fulham and Bolton who are likely to populate the bottom of the Premiership at season end -- those are the games that the top teams usually win. We need to set that as our minimum standard too.

Remeber Gio bagging early there last season? We should have taken them to the cleaners. This is an absolute must win if we are to establish ourselves in the Euro pack.
