Vital MC Man Of The Match Awards Update

Pablo Zabaleta is finding his feet with every game at right back. He looks solid and has a strong work rate. He's our MOTM from the Pie Tasters defeat...

The contrast in Zabaleta's performances with our hapless and regularly out of position left backs is startling. Talk of bottom of the league Vedran Corluka has all but disappeared.

Meanwhile, a mention for Stevie Ireland who again had another good day in his midfield office.

MOTM at City is looking great this season. We've already had seven different MOTM winners. This shows that the strength is right across the side this season. We are much more "balanced" as Bluesy puts it. But the amazing thing is we still have Robinho, Petrov, Dunne and Elano to notch up their first MOTM. It is looking good for the future. But the other side of the coin is very worrying. We have lost three of our first six games. We MUST get harder to beat, and quick.

Zabby getting better with every game, and looking like an outstanding signing.

Well deserved he gets better with every game. Just a pity we do not have a LB in the same mould.
