Trying to rate City players with the usual 1-10 marking scheme is almost impossible this week. But for a few players it was as if the goblins had sneaked into the dressing room at half time and replaced players with exact replicas without the skill level or stamina. The ones who maintained the first half performance were Ireland, the Man of the Match SWP and Kompany. But I'm afraid most of the rest looked a bit jaded in the second half. Liverpool came out fighting for their reputations and pulled the initiative back from us. When we lost Zabaleta our shape just disappeared and it was desperate from then on. Even so SWP still managed to put the frighteners on Liverpool a few times. He really is back to his best. Some great positives from the first half -- in particular Kompany and Ireland matching Alonso and Gerrard --and a second half of pain and tribulation... It's going to be very busy on the training ground this week I think, particularly with the defenders. And I don't count Fernandes in that. I don't know what Hughesy was thinking asking him to fill in Right Back. I feel lousy, it'll be a long week.
Sindbad
and who is going to fill in at right back for the next 3 games ?......
lincolnblue
If Onouha has recovered from injury by the time the next match comes aorund I would put him in the centre and put Micah at RB which undoubtedly is his best position.
alphieblues
keep on asking the other question....where's Berti ?
lincolnblue
I think Micah is best at Right Back too. Then we have the choice of Onuoha or Ben Haim in Centre with Dunne. I'd like to see Onuoha there because he is one of our Academy lads. Is he fit? Like Lincoln I want to know what is happening with Berti. It's beginning to look like he's on a one year trial! Even though Garrido scored a great goal I worry about him defensively. He was "marking" Kuyt when he scored the winner yesterday.
Sindbad
Garrido will no doubt be replaced in January, Sinbad. Not sure how far Onouha is off being fit, but it would be him at RB. The alternative is Micah with TBH filling in at CB. We've got two weeks to get it sorted.

He is a disgrace i hate garrido always will we should have never signed him ok he scored a good freekick but i would say thats all he has ever done
dunne deal
Garrido numegged, but I have to put this one at the door of Zabaleta, why was he tacking that far upfield? as for the last two goals the one from the corner really poor defending, especially on Torres. However its history lets move on.
