The message of this is that our mistakes were reasonable. I don't agree. At half time we should have been able to shut up shop. Like Liverpool would have done. In the first half -- attacking we were brilliant. We were better than Liverpool. We could not close the game down. The sending off was no player's fault. It was inevitable the fight back would come. Joe Royle would have thrown on two more defenders -- and he would have been right!
