Newcastle United v Man City Countdown

With the international break well upon us, Manchester City fans are eager to put last weeks defeat against Liverpool well and truly behind us. But what about our next fixture?

Blues have to wait until Monday 20 October until our next match when, Manchester City travel to the North East to face Kevin Keegan's (oops, he's gone hasn't he) Newcastle United.

Fans unable to travel to St James' Park can always watch the game live on Setanta Sports. Nevertheless, with over a week to go, what are you planning to do with your spare time?

You could always sit and stare at the countdown counter, or...

If ever there was a must win game this is it. This is the first of six games that are all winnable. A minimum of 15 or 16 points out of these games is a must to see us in the top six. How many seconds have gone by since I typed this ???
alphieblues
About 10

Blimey is that all I thoght it was at least half an hour !

OMG ! its going even slower now....
lincolnblue
haha if time goes any slower it will go backwards LOL true alphie we should be looking for victories in those upcoming games. If we can win and get into the top six by the end of the year. with the new players in Jan, maybe....just maybe... we can push for a top 4

Anyone got a sharp knife or a spare rope lying around?

This is depressing! Over NINE days to wait before the action starts again! Will have to make do with the Khazakhstan match tonight :-(

I think there should be a Joe Kinnear "Sweardown" with a different expletive for each day that passes....
Johnny Baguette

Yes AlphieBlues it is so important to beat the barcodes and start a run over six winnable games with a victory. The next six games could, no correct that, will make or break our Premiership season.

....and I thought watching England stuff Kaz would pass some of the time nicely...I could'nt have been more wrong.....England were very poor......
lincolnblue
Agreed lb. They need to raise their game significantly to compete with the world's top international sides.
Johnny Baguette
The Barcodes clash could be the first this season where Hughes has the option to field the forward "dream team" of Petrov, Jo, Robinho, SWP. It's not looking too good for the Geordies however you look at it.
