Mensagem Aos Ventiladores Do Futebol Brasileiro

This translates as: "You think Ronaldo you will remain in Flamengo? In European periodicals he has histories that Paris will go or to the city of Manchester. How close to the full aptitude he is? It was a wound that very bad had." Posters will need to be careful because the words can come over very different to how you may expect!

This was: "Our football club is the only one in Manchester. More than 60% of our fans live very close to the football stadium. The club "Manchester United" are not in the City of Manchester and only 25% of their fans live close to their football stadium. We are trying to beat "the other club" and last year we beat them at home and away in the Premiership. We want to hear from Brazilian supporters about why Brazilian football is the best in the world."

fans = fãs. And ah, cidade de Manchester means City of Manchester, not Manchester City. lol. You might wanna leave Manchester City untranslated.

In the sense of the messages, I am quite happy with City of Manchester. City are the only Premiership football club in Manchester. Thankyou for your correction on air fans. We already knew that may be a problem. Is there anything else we should improve to make it more to your taste, k_chelski?

hi tudor, how's it goin'. "The club "Manchester United" are not in the City of Manchester and only 25% of their fans live close to their football stadium. ". That's how he's trying to attract foreign fans. Not the best on marketing eh? lol.

He's doing his best, far better than I could have done. If you would like to write an article promoting Manchester City in your native tongue, feel free. Just send me the article via the front-page suggestion link and i'll happily do the honours. Oh and the title can't be any longer than 50 words.

I know, I'm just messing with him.The article is good, the only thing it needs is for the world ventilator to be switched to fãs.That's it. But of course mr.asshole won't take any advices.

Tudor can we change ventiladores and ventila to fãs, as advised by k_chelski? It does appear to be right. But if it turns out to mean "fanny" or some other such then please don't blame me...

To read in English: http://www.tribalfootball.com/?q=content/robinho-happy-communication-man-city

The bablefish translater was used 174 times. I just wonder if any of them were Brazillians? Oh and I think i'll leave the wording as it is. At least it showed we tried.
