Crofty pens New Deal

Crofty pens New Deal

Lee Croft has signed a new contract that will keep him at Eastlands until at least summer 2008.

Speaking to the official site, www.mcfc.co.uk, Croft told of the opportunity the new deal would offer him. “I'm glad to be here and hopefully I'll look forward for my chance [of first team action] now.”

Croft has been on the edge of first team action for most of the season but will hoefully use the security the new deal offers to develop as a player and take a forward step in his career.

It is yet another success for the academy system at City as yet another youngster looks to make his mark at first team level.

Good luck. Always good to see youth players come through and make it.
