'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Kaka & Henry Are Definitely Coming

Both Kaka and Thierry Henry have gone on record and said they will not be joining Manchester City. Do you believe them?

How many times in the past have managers and players said something similar when in fact, a few months down the line they are unveiled wearing new colours during hastily arranged press conferences.

'One thing's for sure, the Manchester City thing and all the things you're talking about need to stop,' Thierry Henry told France Football.

It is doubtful either player will be making his Eastlands debut anytime soon, however, I wouldn't rule out a 2009 summer sensation.

......whatever they say....it doesnt matter.....I am learning to take a wait and see attitude......we will be getting more top class players at City....just exactly who and when, that is the question only MH and one or two others will know for sure !

Lincoln is right! Let's just wait and see. Nothing major is likely to happen in January, but the summer may be something entirely different. A lot will depend though on what we achieve between now and then.

.......... and to think a couple of months ago we were being linked with Lucas Neill and Craig Bellamy. How times have changed!
oliverblue
Times have indeed changed. Oh I could pinch myself - happy days!
Tudor
Actually Henry has not said he is not coming. All the headlines suggest he did but if you read the quotes, all he says is that he wants an end to all the speculation!

It would be good to see Thierry Henry playing in the Premiership again.
Markcity
Thierry excellent player would love to see him in the EPL, i just dont feel ManC is the right club for him though. Kaka well that boy can make the starting 11 in any teams!! would be a good addition to an already decent midfield.
ArabianKnight
Good point raised swordfish7, Henry has not said he's not coming. I wonder?
Tudor
Can's see Henry coming. As regards Kaka well now this is a totally different scenario. I could see him joining the Brazilian samba boys, might have to wait until the end of the season though.

i will never belive any story untill i hear it on sky sports news and they say that they have signed whatever amount of years contract
dunne deal
This is the problem with having money - we are going to be linked with every Tom, Dick and Henry! We'll just have to sit tight and see what materialises in Januray / Summer.
oliverblue
the reason they definitely aren't coming is simple: they're at bigger and better clubs. money only goes so far.

DD..I only believe it when it appears on the official MCFC website..

This is not going to happen in January, that's for sure, albeit Mark Hughes will bring in a couple of quality players in the transfer window. The real test will be in the summer when a galaxy of superstars will be unveiled. Can't wait.
Tudor
This is fantasy football. We all love the bet but there is no reality to it. Like Arabianknight I don't see Henry coming here. The man is all ego, accent, jazz, big city funk. The major capital cities of the world are where he will live. Smell the pollution and he won't be far away. But Manchester? Not a chance. It's nothing to do with football. His ego is the size of Canada and he just would not fit into ANY Manchester football club. Kaka, I don't know. What would he prove by coming here? he's already been honoured the best in the world and is still at the top of his game. I don't see why he would come. But there are players who will want the challenge. I still think the door could open to Ronaldo (the real Ronaldo) if he can get fit. If he comes here he will come here to win the Premiership.

....I just keep laughing at it all.....we will know for sure in Jan who MH is bringing in.......whoever he brings in will be good......his track record shows that already !!!!
