Hello Noel and Liam. Oasis fever all over Europe right now. Never off the radio, websites or the papers. Massive publicity offensive. Very much like the new sound and got it in the car. Definitely having it! http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=CemLAaV_0fA

Stuart Pearce. Maybe not at his best when he was with you but he was a City player and one hell of a defender.
The_Legend_Of_Zola
Rocket blaster free kicks. Legend. I remember him rollocking that Norwich diver. I thought he was going to rip his arm off!
Johnny Baguette
He played with his heart on his sleeve. A lot of people seem to dislike that these days but personally, I love to see it.
The_Legend_Of_Zola
All these mincers and divers do my head in, Zola. Hunter, Harris, Pearce and the like would be straight redded almost every week. Enjoy this link mate....! http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=V8kxMnc5KUs
Johnny Baguette
Haha, the really telling part was that the commentators were not certain that the players were going to be sent off the first time. These days, even a good tackle can lead to a red card!
The_Legend_Of_Zola
It'll be come none body contact before too long. Newcastle will be kicking City off the park tomorrow night and we'll have nobody to give it back.
Johnny Baguette
Yeah well I personally blame the UEFA and FIFA for that - every year they come down harder on tackling. It's as much a skill as anything else. And I would say that playing a possible midfield pairing of Barton and Guthrie would be enough for me to send my midfielders out with steel shinpads...
The_Legend_Of_Zola
The best City players haven't been blood and guts defenders. The best City players have been attackers like Bell, Lee, Kinkladze, Summerbee, Young, Francis, Robinho. City has a "fair play" history second to none. Hard but fair. Tommy Booth, Paul Power, Steve McMahon, Peter Reid... The Rags and Chelsea have a history of hard, and dirty players, like Keane and Harris. City are better than that.
Sindbad
Have you forgotten the great Fred Tilson?
mcfcthriller
Too many to mention! Gio, Uwe, Ali B, The Goat, Colin, SWP! The choice is endless!
oliverblue
Well Sindbad - you can think what you want but I think a quality defender is as skillful as any mazy winger.
The_Legend_Of_Zola
and what about quality defenders that are also fast and mazy when attacking ??........ Onuha ??
lincolnblue
Onouha and Johnson. We'll be calling them Hawkeye and Pearce out of M.A.S.H if they spend much more time in the sick bay.
