Nery Castillo Who?

Google language translator

Mexican striker Nery Castillo, currently on loan at Manchester City is to remain at Eastlands, for now.

The 24-year-old was hoping to return to his native country after being ignored since Mark Hughes took the City helm; nevertheless, his wish may come true, and soon.

His parent club Shakhtar Donetsk are more than happy to release the player, but only at the right price. But now that Sparky has no plans for the 5 foot 7 inch forward, Mexican side Guadalajara appear to be in the reckoning.

Reports suggest Castillo's agent Juan Carlos Padilla is doing all he can to move his client on and Guadalajara look as though they are the only side showing an interest.

Shakhtar Donetsk signed him for €20 million.so their coaching staff probably though he had the potential to make a top striker. Unless there is some injury problems.......MH probably have different ideas since he hasnt had a game as yet.

Give him a go out on the left...

With the injuries we are picking up I don't think we can afford to let anyone go at the moment.
alphieblues
The way the injuries are mounting up perhaps Hughes will have no choice but to play him.
Tudor
He's still getting paid, so should be available for Hughes to select. He is very lightweight for the Premiership, but it has not stopped him being successful elsewhere. His videos look fantastic...
Sindbad
past video's and playing for City in the prem are two different things

You'd have thought he'd have blended in with the other South Amercian players, but Hughes obviously isn't keen. Get the feeling we haven't seen the best of him, but I dont expect to see him around for much longer.
