Manchester City News In Brief

Vital Manchester City brings fans up to date news from around the club. Details include Ronaldo, Joe Hart and Thaksin Shinawatra.

Ronaldo

The media cannot leave this story alone. The latest news concerning the Brazilian say 'fat boy' is approaching full fitness after training with Flamengo back in his native country

Should he prove his fitness, City are just one of a number of teams interested in the forward.

Ronaldo said...

'I've been approached by many clubs but if (Manchester) City make their offer again I'll consider it.'

'I'm strong and I believe in one or two months I'll be playing at 100 per cent.'

Joe Hart

City are hopeful of agreeing terms over a new four-year contract with goalkeeper Joe Hart by the end of the week.

The England U21 international has been reportedly offered a double-your-money deal to stay at Eastlands, in an attempt to ward off interest from Tottenham and Arsenal.

Thaksin Shinawatra

Rumours suggest Thaksin Shinawatra is about to sell off his remaining 10% share in the club after being sentenced to two years in jail by a Thai Court.

Joe Hart = future England #1 lol hopefully not to long in the future either! Its pleasing to know the youths are getting the financial incentives to preform.

Hart's signature is key to our future as a club. In a few years, with more experience, he will likely develop into one of the top goalies in Europe. It is actually remarkable -- that he is as good as he is -- for a 21 year old.

He will get better, but would like to see a stronger No.2 to put more pressure on him. As for Ronaldo, who are these "other clubs"? None mentioned in the press, so it's obviously a tactic to try and force City's hand.
