FA Cup First Round Draw

Google language translator

Football fans will be tuning in at 1pm this Sunday in their millions to watch ITV`s coverage of this years FA Cup First Round draw.

This is when non-league teams, who win through from this weekends final qualifying rounds wait with baited breath hoping to be drawn against a League One or Two club, and the possible financial rewards associated.

Manchester City, who are busy with Premier League business this Sunday don't enter the competition until the Third Round, scheduled to take place during the first weekend in January.

TV coverage

ITV and Setanta Sports have exclusive FA Cup television rights for this and the next couple of seasons, after paying the Football Association millions of pounds for the privilege.

Didn't the rags abstain from the Cup once? I think we should pull out of both dometic competitions for a couple of seasons on fans health grounds....
