Vital MC Man Of The Match Awards Update

City's abject failure to see off Boro was notable for many of our star performers having a bad day at the office. However, Vinny keeps on going...

It would be interesting to see Kompany play alongside a box to box midfield general. A neccessity at this level that City do not have right now.

Once again our MOTM polls are telling the story of our season. Defensive star performances are few and far between. Most notably, Richard Dunne is just not at the races. Could he use a break?

Dunny is definitely due a break he has been carrying a chest injury for weeks now.

I voted for Stevie Ireland, but Kompany did a good job too. What I really like to see is that we have no less than eight of our first team who have earned MOTM awards this season.
Sindbad
I voted for Ned, Hughes now has a selection headache because it's obvious that Mica can't play at LB & it'll be hard to drop Ned after that perfomance.

The Richard Dunne thing. I'm not sure the man is entirely fit. I found the declaration that he had "breathing problems" rather unusual. Maybe he is due a rest, but our squad is already stretched to the limit.
Sindbad
There wouldn't be anything wrong with a back line of Zabaleta - Richards- Dunne- Onuoha.

Dunne needs to go! Too clumsy... Own goal top scorer!
mcfcthriller
What about as a back line this one of Zabaleta - Richards- Kompany, Onuoha.
mcfcthriller
Trouble is mcfcthriller that Kompany misses the Spurs game so it's back to square one.

Dunne has good games at times, maybe he is carrying an injury or perhaps need a rest.. the thing is we cant afford either right now with suspensions and injuries. A strong case for some new players come Jan for sure.

I think Garrido is quite good going forward. He has the pace and his swinging crosses into the box is the one thing we didn't see at Boro. So, Javi is my choice for LB but his defending is atrocious. What a conundrum.

for gods sake lets try Berti there.....what is there to lose ????
