Sparky To Visit Abu Dhabi & Discuss New Players

Google language translator

Manchester City boss Mark Hughes is to visit Abu Dhabi in two weeks time for a meeting with billionaire owner Sheikh Mansour to discuss transfer targets.

Sparky said...

"I've sent them the targets and our strategy in relation to player acquisition and we will be having further discussions. We are looking to add to the quality we have and to be stronger in all areas."

"With the backing of Sheikh Mansour, there is a great opportunity here for everyone."

Talking about the current crop of City players the gaffer added...

"They have to understand the opportunity and grasp it. If you play well and train well you will always have a future here."

Now that Hughsey has drawn up a list of players he wants for the January and summer transfer window, which world-class players do you think he wants. To discuss your idea's click here and let us know.

I think we all know what areas of the team need strengthening. Let's just hope our views match that of Sparky!

Marcell Jansen and Taye Taiwo. Two players. One solution.

Marcell Jansen ? I've been watching Taiwo and the other targets mentioned. He looks strong but a lot of goals conceded do come from crosses on his flank. He doesn't get tight and ball watches a lot of the time. Frings doesn't look anything special, but does a job. The guy who makes things tick more than Arshavin is Diego - now there's a signing. Get him with Frings and they don't really need to gel. Gillardinio looks like the new Inzaghi and Villa should be bought with Albeida and Aguero. - be good all round Brazilians, Argies ...:)
