I Want To Make History

Blues record signing Robinho says he wants to become part of Manchester City's history.

Talking to the Abu Dhabi's The National, the Brazilian ace said he thinks the Eastlands clubs can become as big as Real Madrid.

'I came to Manchester City because I see them growing and getting bigger. Can they be as big as Real Madrid? Yes, I hope so.'

'I hope to play here for many years. I hope to make history at the club and become one of the great heroes of Manchester City.'

Future City Players?

FIFA's world player of the year, Kaka and Robinho are jaw dropping when they play for Brazil, so how about the pair teaming up at City?

'He is a great player and a great person,' added Robinho.

'Kaka is fantastic and has so much ability. He is strong, intelligent and fast. Obviously, I hope I can play with him here. If Kaka or any other great player wants to come here, the door is open.'

'It's great when we have players like that mentioned with the club. Obviously, we love it, and the ambition of the owners.'

'All the players are hoping to make this club the best in the world.'

He certainly has the potential to do so. Let's hope he can! Start with a hat-trick at The Swamp Robinho and you'll be well on your way!

alphieblues
Well said Robinho! He can achieve anything he wants in football. He is also savvy enough to know that if he does help take City into the Champions League he will get far more credit than playing half of Real Madrid's games.

8 goals in 12 starts is a cracking haul. His 30 goal season target could be on.

Spurs back down fixed in the mire with the rest of us after Saturday's results. Long, long way to go.

Robinho you are a fantastic player & I think from Manchester City you will win in next few year in "Golden Ball" award.
city 81
I do believe that he'll stay at Citeh for some years BUT he won't be world's best player playing in the UEFA Cup once every six years with such a poor team!
ForeverUnited
KAKA well there is absolutely no reason why Milan will sell him.& he is not the guy for whom money speaks! He will never leave Milan I guess & if the Club wants to sell him hm I can see some competition.I told thousand times earlier Robinho transfer was a completely different case. Not every Big transfer will be like that & of Course not at all KAKA.DREAM ON WHOLE WORLD
