Mark Hughes - Five Positives - Five Negatives

Mark Hughes - Five Positives - Five Negatives

Google language translator

Why are the doom and gloom merchants gunning for Manchester City boss Mark Hughes head, and without good cause? Isn't it time City fans stop belly aching and got behind the man.

In an attempt to look at the pro's and cons, why not take part and submit your five negative and five positive feelings you have for Sparky.

I am convinced the positives will outweigh the negatives - surely.

For what it's worth, here are mine, and not necessarily in order:

Positives

1 - Doesn't take any nonsense from players. Elano for example and the £50,000 fine.
2 - Has played at the highest level and knows the game inside out.
3 - Great in front of the media / cameras
4 - Contacts within the game.
5 - Has the respect of the players / Club officials / owners.
5a - Doesn`t suffer fools gladly.

Negatives

1 - At times some of his tactics on the field can be a tad bizarre.
2 - I get the feeling once he has a grudge with someone that grudge can last too long. (linked to number 6 above).
3 - Club owner thinks Sparky is aiming too low (list of potential new players) especially when ADUG want the best players in the world.
4 - Inspiration: I would like to see him in the dugout directing traffic and shouting instructions more than he does now.
5 - Enthusiasm. I am sure I am wrong and behind the scenes he's kicking ass, however he needs to express himself much more in front of the supporters.

Positive: 1) he's played football at the highest level Negatives: 1) Dodgy subs 2) Players out of position 3) Losing control of the dressing room 4) Only ever managed a provincial club with a tiny budget and 0 big name players 5) Tactics 6) No plan B 7) Very poor run of results 8) 7 more league games until we can change anything (transfer window) 9) Names we are being linked with vs names the Arabs allegedly want - I know which of the two lists I'd prefer! 10) Once a rag always a rag. Not really getting the hang of this am I.
