QPR Come Sniffing - Again

Google language translator

It was only three weeks ago reports coming out of certain sections of the media suggested Championship side Queens Park Rangers were after taking City striker Daniel Sturridge on a loan deal. Now it's the turn of Elano.

Daily Mirror Article

'Ambitious QPR are trying to sign Manchester City's out-of-favour Brazilian star Elano in a shock loan deal.'

'Championship promotion wannabes Rangers have started talks to take midfield schemer Elano and pick up a chunk of his wages for the rest of the season.'

'Rangers supremo Flavio Briatore is in favour of the prestigious capture of a current Brazil squad member - the kind of eye-catching swoop that appeals to his vision of the London club.'

'Elano could be persuaded to move and put himself into the shop window as he feels he has not had the respect he deserves at Eastlands.'

Daily Mail Article

'Mark Hughes may make an example of Manchester City dissenter Elano by sending the Brazilian on loan to Queens Park Rangers.'

'The West London club have reportedly made an ambitious bid for the attacking midfielder following an outburst than angered Hughes and earned the 27-year-old a £50,000 fine.'

'Jose Mourinho is also interested in taking the Brazil international to Inter Milan, but City may instead choose to send a message to other potential dissenters by sending Elano to Loftus Road...'

Sparky Spanks Elano

R's fans, please read the very last paragraph, which reads...

'We have players in the squad who I want to work with and use and Elano is certainly in that category,' added Hughes.

Sorry to dampen your spirits QPR fans but the story is a none-starter. End of story!

The Daily Mirror really do come out with some *hite.
Tudor
It would be typical of MH to send him off there.
alphieblues
Now wouldn't that be a sensation Tudor!
Boxer
It would be a huge sensation Boxer if Elano moved to Shepherds Bush. Really can't see it myself though. Anyway, the Daily Mirror is talking it's usual bollox. (Some might say there's nothing new there).
Tudor
Is it April 1st? I wouldn't believe the date at the top of the page in The Mirror!
Ghost of 76
