Kelvin Etuhu Injury Update

Google language translator

Manchester City boss Mark Hughes told the official City website that the 20-year-old forward's recovery is well on track.

"The hamstring has been the issue with him but there's been an underlying problem that we weren't aware of that keeps holding him back,' added Sparky.

'It's at the top of the hamstring and might have been there all the time due to his make-up and we've treated the side of the hamstring, whereas he's been compromised by an injury higher up.'

'We've had to be strict and retrace steps and go back and start again with him which is frustrating really because he's been out for too long.'

Etuhu's last City appearance was back in August when hew came on as a substitute against West Ham United.

It seems to be a pattern with us this season, wrong diagnosis and wrong treatment. Did MH bring in his own medical team in as well ???

I'd like to know the full story about this. Kelvin should be coming back into contention now, but we're getting another story about unknown injuries. I don't think this kind of mis-diagnosis should be acceptable. It sounds like the medical team weren't close enough to the player to spot it.

nothing surprises me any more now regarding injuries.....we are going through the worst period of injuries that I have ever known at City !!!
