The Times Online have reported that Manchester City have launched a bid for the experienced Italian International goalkeeper, Gianluigi Buffon.

The only concern is does Mark Hughes want Buffon, or is the chairman using his power to control the transfers? I remember Mark Hughes stating he didn`t want big-name signing?

Would you want Buffon between the posts? Or do you think Joe Hart has done enough for City. Maybe only a keeper who can challenge Schmeichel for that Bench spot is needed?

All i know is that come January we will be linked with every Tom, Dick and Harry possible.

He's the man. Sorry lads, but this is one demented transfer I would wholly endorse. He's a completely hatstand genius and just the star to help bring Harty and Kasper on.
