'If It's Football, It's Vital'

It's Getting Ridiculous Already!

Google language translator

Yesterday it was the Times Online and today it`s The News of the World. Apparently Manchester City are about to launch a £60 million pound bid for none other than "Mr Chelsea" himself, John Terry.

The new owners want to state their intent, and this would certainly send a message but more along the lines of: we have no clue about football and just want to flash our cash about. However I know this story is more than likely just gossip because at this moment in time, I doubt even £200,000 a week would change John Terry`s mind from switching to Manchester from the capital?

However it is worth noting that Abramovich is someone who is finding the credit crunch very costly for his various businesses. However I don`t think Chelsea is in the position where they would need to sell their star defender just yet?

All that I do know is, we are the only club in the premiership who will be able to flex their credit cards, and spend big in January.

I wonder which player will be linked with us tomorrow? My bet`s on Torres for around £80 million?

complete crap of course, but 60 mill on him would be well-spent compared to buffon. Can we send Mills as a make-weight? Cant wait for tomorrows NOTW

NOTW what a load of garbage. Because none of the top four won yesterday they have to come up with fairy stories to fill their crap paper.

this is getting irritating. aren't you a little embarrased about all these rumours? it's one thing getting new owners who can offer a little more money to the club but this may very well be the beginning of the end for poor englsh football fans (probably won't, abramovich wasn't, and QPR are still in the championship but nevertheless...)

All that money and you will always be Manchesters 2nd club.... lol
