'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Blackburn Reserves: Player Ratings

Tobias Johansen: Was not called into to make a top class save; but performed well. 7

Javan Vidal: Defended well but too often played the wrong ball despite working quite hard. 6

Sam Williamson: As Captain you expect him to do a bit more; but was solid. 6

Ben Mee: A couple of stray long passes but otherwise won everything. 7

Clayton McDonald: Has transformed himself this season and the reserves are the beneficiaries. 8

Adam Clayton: Yet another all action display from the tenacious young midfielder. 8

Vladimir Weiss: First half 4; second half 7; overall worth a 6 for a fine goal and a few runs into the box.

Paul Marshall: Compliment's Clayton quite well in midfield; but there is still more to come from him. 7

David Ball: Ran his socks off; but lack of games for him is clearly showing. 6

James Poole: Again like Ball; lack of games is not helping him but he held the ball up very well. 7

Donal McDermott: Worked very hard and showed some real skill to get around the Blackburn defence and create numerous chances. Any on looking scouts could only have been impressed by his display. MoM 9.
