Kaka To Enhance Samba City?

Kaka To Enhance Samba City?

Brazilian superstar Kaka shocked the world yesterday when he stated that his dream was to play in the premiership. This only provided more ammunition to the media as by now they must be struggling to link any other player with a move to Eastland`s.

Is this realistic? Is it possible? It`s going to cost a bomb if it`s going to happen, but with the credit crunch in full swing, it seems as if Manchester City are the only option for Kaka if he wants to reach his dream and play in the premiership.

Quotes from the telegraph suggest that the move is more than realistic even if the Milan coach, Carlo Ancelotti find`s the deal "impossible".

Kaka went on to state that:

"I like very much the Premier League because it is a very tough championship, a lot of big players, a lot of big teams, now I think it is the best championship in the world,"

The word's from the Brazilian would have sent ear`s twitching around the top 4 teams in England, but he was then asked about his link with Manchester City.

"Yes I have a lot of friends playing there. I am watching some games - I am speaking with Robinho, Elano sometimes about Manchester City."

This sent the media into overdrive! The great Kaka, a legend in the game already has spoken about our Manchester City. This deal could be a possibility in January because City could pay anything AC Milan and Kaka asked for. However would Man City really be stupid enough to pay over £80 million pounds on a player who could earn double the average wage, in which would risk the harmony and desire of the players around him. Robinho`s deal produced a buzz around the place, but with Kaka on the books, the likes of Ireland and Johnson would surely be dropped because you couldn`t place a player with the stature of Kaka on the bench?

From a dream and fantasy to optimism and reality. The new owners are certainly ready to spend big in January. Whether it`s kaka or Diarra, Ashley Cole or Bridge, the future is bright, the future is blue!

I am sure we could accomodate both Ireland and Johnno with Robinhao & Kaka...mind you it would mean Vassell losing his place !!!

Would be great but pure speculation at this moment. I see we have been linked with another two keepers this morning. It's crazy!

From an outsider's point of view, I don't think this is the way you should go. Though I greatly admire Kaka as a footballer, I think that if you are to achieve longterm success it will have to be done slightly more subtely and in a more balanced manner than that. You need to concentrate on building in defence, rather than chasing attacking superstars yet.

Agree with you Arsena;Rob but if the chance to sign another superstar comes along we shouldn't miss it.

Interesting to hear he has come out and said he's been speaking to Robinho and Elano about City. Is there truth in it after all? It makes sense what your saying ArsenalRob, and I'm sure MH has defensive players lined up to compliment the attacking options we have. These are definately exciting times!
