Vital MC Man Of The Match Awards: Fulham

Google language translator

Pablo Zabaleta was outstanding yet again for Manchester City last weekend, this time at Fulham...

The lad has two feet and a work rate and attitude that has endeared him to the Eastlands faithful. Credit where it is due to Mark Hughes and his scouts for bringing in 'Zab' alongside Vinny Kompany.

Our MOTM votes gave a terrific idea of who was putting in a shift for City last season and this season's polls have followed that trend.

Kompany and Zabaleta with SWP and Ireland have formed a never say die quartet without whom we'd be close to rock bottom of the league.

The foursome have won our recognition in 19 out of the 26 competitive games played so far this season. That's startling. They have certainly been carrying some passengers.

Opps, wrong tune!

That's three MOTM awards for our Argentinian -- all of them in tough away games. That's when we need his quality the most. A great buy by Hughes!

He gets better and better. Just hope we can find a similar LB in the transfer window.

If we can find someon with his strength and work rate, our side would look very balanced across the back, even with the centre backs we have!

I have been well impressed by him after a quiet start....but he has settled in very well now.....
