Darius Vassell Gets Mugged!
After a night out on the town, you roll out your taxi, pay the driver and expect to get home safely if not a little unstable. However it was a different story for Darius Vassell.
Vassell had attended the club`s Christmas party before being mugged while disputing his taxi fare in the early hours of Sunday morning. His £15,000 watch and £8,000 set of earrings where pinched off the striker, who was left uninjured but "roughed-up".
This is just another example of the way the world is evolving. You can`t even have a good night anymore, in risk of being mugged when you come out a flipping taxi.
I may be a critic of Vassell, but nobody deserves to be mugged. From everybody at Vital Football, we wish Vassell well, and hope he can overcome this traumatic experience.

I'm clearly anachronistic and churlish. But I believe any man who wears £8,000 worth of earrings needs his head examining. There really wasn't anything else more important for you Darius?

he should be used to it......he gets mugged on the pitch every week......but on a serious note....glad he's ok really.....or we wouldnt be able to get rid of him would we...?
