Nightlife In Manchester City - Who Remembers?

Google language translator

Manchester City ex-pats living in all four corners of Britain, or for that matter, all four corners of the globe should check this out.

Who remembers Joy Division, or the infamous Hacienda, the only nightclub in the North-West catering for all?

In a trip down memory lane, we at Vital Man City show a clip of the good old days.

Music and football always inextricably linked for so many Blues. Gigs at the Boardwalk after a match were always a favourite of mine.

Aye, definitely...music and Manchester. I used to live a few doors down from the original Factory office on Palatine Road - of course, none of my flatmates knew that (kids! pah!). My favourite hangout has always been the Cornerhouse cafe. Me and some dudes used to rehearse our dodgy punk rock in some derelic warehouse in Ancoats. I also had the misfortune to experience the death throes of the Hacienda (gang warfare and druglords put at end to that place). Watching Bjork doing her minimal, manic electronica thing at the Paradise Garage...and best of all, doing my pilgrimage at the Salford Lads Club (you know why). Oh Manchester...so much to answer for.
