Manchester City Will Bolster Premier League

Google language translator

In the current financial global market, Manchester City FC are the only club with the finances to bolster the English Premier League.

Never mind the billions of pounds pumped into the EPL through TV revenue, there is only one club who can challenge the likes of Chelsea when it comes to the hard earned buck, and that that is yours truly, Manchester City Football Club.

ADUD, the consortium pulling the strings behind the Eastlands club have the financial muscle to purchase Belgium outright. Impressive, well in the words of Father Ted...'fecking right it is.'

With several Premier League side suffering from the global economic turmoil, it appears Manchester City are the only club left to bolster the Premier League.

Worldwide TV companies are only too eager to take our games live, why, because we are the future.

Now is the time to put our dearest neighbours in the shadow and take the bull by the horns. Manchester City is the future of British football, whether you like it or not.

I have just come back from my local and I am the only City fan in there. I am surrounded by fans of Blackpool, Preston, Blackburn, Burnley, Wigan & Middlesborough and they all want to know who I think we will sign. I am sure they are all just as excired as I am at the prospects of some of the worlds top players coming to us.

alphieblues, because of where I live, I am surrounded by Southampton and Portsmouth fans. We have to live with it i'm afraid, but being in a position we are wn, feck'em all!

The future of British football?? Man City? The future of British football are the United reserves!

"there is only one club who can challenge the likes of Chelsea when it comes to the hard earned buck"?!?!?!? Hard earned buck my arse! No offense but hard earned buck is the antithesis of your two clubs.

United are hilarious - hiding the fact they're bricking it with their big arrogant mouths. haha

The rags will be sold within one year.

as long as all these people keep filling up their fuel tanks, and giving us more money......and whats more.......every one of the top 4 have spent millions and millions to get where they are today....so they have no room to talk.....now our turn has come......and none of them like it... :o)
lincolnblue
lincolnblue - we didnt try to to get to the top by buying all the best players in the world within two, even ONE year! You have to build your status in the domestic league to even interest these players. What Citeh are trying to do is just plain funny! And I don't mind giving you all the money in the world, if WE keep winning the trophies!
ForeverUnited
ForeverUnited, How many players do you have from United Academy?!, Only three players ( Nevil, Scols & Gigges) & all of them this year will be the last years, What I want say is becouse you had money in the previous years you bring the best players & able won in many Championships Unlike us who did not have the money,But now and like "lincolnblue" what said: NOW OUR TURN HAS COME .

You'll undoubtedly buy a lot of players, and a lot of damn good players. Maybe you will be able to attract the likes of Kaka, or whichever brazlian you set your eye on next. But on a cold November Tuesday night, away to Blackburn playing in front of about 15000 fans, will those very same mercenaries be properly up for it? You'd probably walk the league in say Spain or Italy, but to win in England is a different matter. If Hughes (or whoever they bring in if they change him) doesn't get the balance right, you'll never be the dominant force united were in the 90's in English football. Look at the teams in this division these days: Wigan, Bolton, Stoke, Fulham, Blackburn, Boro etc etc. Even up to the likes of ourselves at Goodison. We're not great footballing sides, but we get stuck in and fight for the shirt, I'm not sure a lot of the players the arabs will want to buy will prosper in this league. 75% of the clubs are more Physical than technical in their attitude.

city81 - You couldnt be more wrong! Why does everyone always think about JUST those three!?? There's Brown, Fletcher, Campbell, Rafael and Evans. All of whom have made their way into the first team if not the starting line-up. The reason we've had to buy more was Chelsea. Roman threw his millions around and if we hadnt bought, Chelsea would've won four straight titles by now. Having said that, Fergie always finds playing time for the players mentioned above. Evans started at CB at the Bridge, CL gainst Villareal, Aalborg and others.......Rafael now starts most games, so does Fletcher and Brown if fit. So you see we havent got about trying to buy all the best players from all the best teams around the world. Thats now how you create a winning team.

I understand the "Its our Turn" thing but what do you mean by that? Do you mean its your turn to throw your money around senselessly and blindingly chasing success?
ForeverUnited
Taggart has had a blank cheque for many years and has bought success time and again. The point about this article is that most Premiership clubs are carrying debts which are too high. United's debts are simply massive, the largest in the Premiership? By bringing new cash into the Premiership City will raise the standards and the likes of United will have to break the bank to try to keep up. Shame.
